Aunque no soy muy fan de los iluminadores para rostro, especialmente de los que son en formato líquido/gel/crema y con acabado nacarado (personalmente prefiero iluminar el rostro en textura polvo y siempre prefiero los acabados mates), debo rendirme a los pies de este producto del que hoy os quiero hablar.
Se trata del iluminador Girl Meets Pearl de la inefable marca estadounidense Benefit, que pocas veces nos falla y siempre nos sorprende y nos hace sonreir con su packaging, los nombres de sus productos, sus descripciones, etc. Y es que como ellos mismos rezan “La sonrisa es el mejor cosmético”.
Pues bien, este producto es uno de los últimos en llegar a la gran familia de “fake-its” de Benefit (los “fake its” son productos que con un toque de maquillaje o de cosmético nos ayudan a tener mejor rostro, la especialidad de Benefit) ya que está en el mercado desde septiembre de 2010. Yo lo conocí en el Taller de Maquillaje que Benefit nos ofreció a un grupo de blogueras y que convenientemente os expliqué en su momento.
Se trata de un producto en crema con un efecto nacarado y rosado que contribuye a iluminar el rostro a través de pequeños toques que debemos dar en puntos determinados del rostro. Lo mejor es aplicarlo cuando ya hemos hecho todo el maquillaje del rostro, como os digo, a pequeños toques con las yemas de los dedos y en zonas como: el hueso de la mejilla principalmente pero también entre el labio y la barbilla, en el hueso de la nariz, etc. Gwyneth Paltrow se ha ofrecido muy amablemente a mostraros en su propio rostro las zonas donde os recomiendo aplicar este iluminar. Recordad, siempre en pequeñas dosis y a toquecitos.
Este producto contiene extracto de frambuesa y de camomila que calman la piel, semillas de almendra dulce para suavizar y reafirmar la piel y aceite de sésamo para hidratar. Los pigmentos que contiene captan la luz para ofrecer ese toque resplandeciente al rostro y de este modo tener unas mejillas sanas e iluminadas. Además tiene un aroma suave muy agradable, a frambuesa roja.
Este iluminador lo encontráis en los stands de Benefit de El Corte Inglés y tiendas Sephora a un precio de 28,5€. Como hay que aplicar muy poquita cantidad, dura muchísimo así que es una pequeña inversión que merece la pena.

A mí los productos Benefit no me llaman demasiado en general, tienen un packaging precioso, pero por ese precio prefiero comprar otra marca que me dé mejores resultados… (p.e. Mac y mira que nunca compro ahí porque el único stand que tenemos está gobernado por una arpía idiota) No es que crea que Benefit es mala marca, sino que atrae mucho por fuera y a mí sus productos no me van bien… 🙁

Pues Benefit no me gusta mucho peor justo uno de sus iluminadores el moonbeam me gusta bastante aunque de brillito, en general prefiero iluminadores en crema qque polvo 😉

La verdad es que pinta muy bien, aunque reconozco que tiene un precio un poco elevado. No he tenido la oportunidad de probar nada de Benefit pero espero no tardar.
Me encantan los iluminadores porque tengo tendencia a llevar la piel apagada pero no me gustan los que tienen purpurina me gustan los que iluminan de forma natural este tiene una pinta estupenda de momento no he probado nada de Benefit y lo estoy deseando un besito guapa.

En el catálogo de Benefit hablaban de él como de una prebase luminosa para la base de maquillaje, y a mí no me llamó la atención porque las prebases con brillo…como que no.
Pero el otro día estuve en Sephora, lo probé por curiosidad, y me encantó como iluminador¡ No se puede explicar lo bonito que es y lo bien que huele.

Para mi, mi iluminador favorito es el Multiple de Nars en el tono Copacabana, es precioso! pero este también me gusta, aunque no tenga nada que ver. Este tiene más brillo dorado. No tenía mucha confianza en él porque el That Gal no me hacía nada, pero este me he sorprendido para bien. Algún día lo he usado debajo del maquillaje y la verdad es que sí da luminosidad a la cara y es discreto (poniendo poquito). Eso sí, no te lleves las manos a la cara o acabarás pareciendo una bola de discoteca! Un besote!!
